Terms of Use
Last updated: March 25, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Curio mobile application and related services operated by HR Labs ("Curio", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using Curio, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you use Curio on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Curio.
2. Your account
- You may use Curio in guest mode or with a registered account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
3. License and permitted use
Subject to these Terms, HR Labs grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Curio for your own non-commercial use.
- Use the app only in compliance with applicable law.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, modify, resell, or exploit Curio except where applicable law permits despite this restriction.
- Do not interfere with the app, backend services, subscriptions, rewards, or security controls.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription prices, trial availability, and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase.
If you purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the platform provider under its terms and policies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
5. Learning content and product changes
Curio is an educational product. We may add, remove, update, or reorganize topics, quizzes, rewards, features, and entitlements at any time.
We do not guarantee that specific content, chapters, streaks, XP systems, or premium features will always remain available in the same form.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use Curio to violate law, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with other users or our services.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, backend systems, APIs, or non-public content.
- Do not use automation, scraping, or abuse patterns that degrade the service or bypass product limits.
7. Intellectual property
Curio, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, quizzes, and original content arrangements, is owned by HR Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Curio if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or exposed HR Labs to legal or operational harm.
You may stop using Curio at any time. You may also request deletion of your account through Curio's privacy settings where available.
9. Disclaimers
Curio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all content will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific purposes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HR Labs and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to Curio.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Curio after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
